Mikkita L. Moore is an International Motivational Speaker, Author, Small Business Consultant, and the voice behind the brand Transparency Motivator. She is the author and co-author of more than 15 published books, beginning with her debut work The Letter, From the Invisible Daughter, a deeply personal story that marked the beginning of her healing journey and commitment to truth-telling.
Mikkita’s writing was born from a place of survival, reflection, and purpose. What started as a way to release pain, trauma, and unspoken emotions became a mission to preserve her story for generations to come. Rather than allowing her experiences to remain hidden in journals, she chose to document her truth so her children—and their children—could one day understand where they came from and what it took to overcome.
Her work challenges stereotypes often placed on young mothers, particularly Black women from the south side of Chicago. Becoming a mother at 14 did not define her limits—it revealed her strength. Mikkita speaks boldly against narratives that suggest teenage mothers cannot thrive, raise successful children, or build meaningful lives. Her story stands as living proof that those assumptions are false.
As a motivational speaker, Mikkita is known for her raw transparency, emotional intelligence, and ability to connect across generations. She has toured nationally and internationally, sharing messages centered on healing, resilience, identity, faith, purpose, and personal accountability. Her talks are not polished performances—they are honest conversations designed to help people confront their truth and move forward with clarity.
In addition to speaking and writing, Mikkita is a Small Business Consultant, where she helps small businesses and entrepreneurs scale their brand, clarify their message, and build structure for sustainable growth. She works with creatives, service providers, and purpose-driven leaders to turn vision into action through branding, organization, and strategic guidance.
Mikkita is also a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor (retired) and brings years of training, teaching, and mentorship experience into every space she enters. Her multifaceted background allows her to support others from a place of lived experience—not theory.
Above all, Mikkita’s work is rooted in one core belief: healing changes everything. Whether through books, the stage, consulting, or conversation, she remains committed to helping people tell their stories, stand in their truth, and move forward without shame.
She is not just sharing motivation—
she is creating space for transparency, growth, and legacy.

Mission Statement
Dear Daddy: The Legacy of Charles S. Gamble is a nonprofit dedicated to healing and empowering girls and women who have experienced father absence, loss, or complicated relationships. Through storytelling, community support, and creative expression, we honor the truth of each daughter’s journey while preserving and transforming the legacy of fathers—bringing connection, healing, and hope to daughters across the world.
Vision Statement
We envision a world where every daughter, regardless of her experience with father absence or loss, feels seen, supported, and empowered to transform her story into strength. Through collective healing, creative expression, and shared legacy, we strive to cultivate a global community where daughters reclaim their voices, rewrite generational narratives, and rise with resilience, hope, and purpose.
Habakkuk 2:2-4- 2 Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 4 “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.
